Also, my new format looks a little small, so I’ll work on limiting it to three panels next time. Or maybe a 4×4 instead. Or Maybe i’ll just make it smaller and you guys will have to click on it.
@ josh:
You could try the one panel thing (Far Side), three panel (Garfield) or four panel (Sherman’s Lagoon) for weekdays, and then supersize it for weekends. It could go either way.
@ Rice Cube:
One-panels require a visual joke, and I’m a really horrible illustrator (also, it’s time-consuming). Three panels are very difficult to do as well, but that’s maybe just because my ideas are too elaborate.
Len and Bob seemed not to like Jon Lovitz. I actually always think he’s one of the better guests. He’s quick on his feet and can speak in complete sentences. And he’s funny.
@ Rice Cube:
I haven’t been musing at night as much lately. This late in the season shit is just depressing to me. I know I should learn to forget it. I still enjoy the victories though.
I think he’s on vacation, guessing from his twitter account. Though it seems he’s at a dmb concert every other day anyway so it’s tough to tell (dying laughing)
Bubbles hasn’t been around much since he got bashed by half the people here over a gay rights discussion about a month ago. I’m not sure he’s been around at all.
Awesome title.

I can’t argue with you today.
Do we get a prize if we suggest a good title for the Hope Monster comic?
Rice CubeQuote Reply
I’m not sure if you guys are referring to the one liner after the comic, or to the fact that there is no title. Either way, I agree.

I forgot a title. But I changed it. So now you guys look like the jerks. Rightfully so, I might add.

I like the new format, Josh.

I clicked it. I think you should have multiple formats. Bloom County did, and it rocked.

That’s the plan, to shake it up more.

The Cubs officially can’t finish the season with a winning record now.

I think the Cubs need to hire some Baseball Prospectus writers before the Astros snatch them all up.

They need to get Will Carroll in as a Vertical Arm Reach consultant for the pitching staff.

Was anybody else surprised to see Hunter Pence on the Giants and have to go to wikipedia to figure out that he got traded to them at the deadline?
joshQuote Reply
@ josh:
I wasn’t, but as a Giants fan I was actually paying attention 😉
I like your comics, keep up the good work. Doesn’t matter how many panels you use as long as the joke works.

@ Rice Cube:
I just don’t want things to get stale. If I think of a good one-panel joke, I’ll use that.
joshQuote Reply
@ josh:
The one-panel night musings are usually good if you have a strong punch-line. I forgot the last time you did one of those, though.

He can also sing a bit (as can Kelsey Grammer and Jason Alexander.) Most of the guest conductors are horrible.
