Molina hit a sharp grounder to Bryant. Some Cardinal had a huge lead and tried to score. Bryant’s throw was shitty and when Montero tried to spin back to tag the runner, he appeared to roll over his ankle. Then Willson came in and Grimm immediately started pouring gasoline on the situation.

Their app is buggy as fuck. I think in the first year or so they did it it seemed to work okay, but once they got serious about adding ads in it pretty much has been garbage. Some days it’s fine, some days it doesn’t work at all.

Shit that bugs me is like if its the last out of the inning, they don’t update it and you don’t know what happened unless you comb back over the logs. They often won’t show the last pitch of an inning. I’ve seen several times where the current batter didn’t update and then I realized it hap udated below and shit was out of order. The audio broadcast yesterday was a full minute or more behind everything else, including slow-ass gameday. Maybe I’m nitpicking, but shit like that drives me crazy.

Yeah, I’ve seen that more than it probably should happen, but overall I think At Bat is one of the top apps for the iPhone.

I use the iPhone and Windows PC app for audio and video and usually have no problem. There have been a couple games this year where the audio feed fucked up. I also have the Apple TV and PS3 apps — the first one works great while the second blows (although it may be due to poor bandwidth to that device in my house).
The Gameday itself is something I rarely use and never really enjoyed. I’d rather just watch a feed of play by play in text or follow on Twitter or something since it is so frustrating.
