Was it just me or did Garza seem like he didn’t even want to be out there. he seemed annoyed to be pitching to me. I missed the first inning, though, so maybe he had reason.
Castro is a poor percentage base stealer. It blows my mind that he’s always given the green light. I’d never give him the green light against a lefty pitcher or a good catcher.
Guess if I were Roenicke, I’d move Braun or Aoki to the IF and have Izturis pitch. If he gets hurt pitching, nothing is lost. Then put a starter in LF. Or maybe Aoki can pitch.
I tried doing this a couple times in video games. Both times my position player threw two weak fastballs and then the computer randomizer thingy said they tore a ligament (dying laughing)

Yeah, this is one shittly played game.

i’m starting to see why the Brewers aren’t doing so well.
Great bunt there. Great situation for bunting. Way to completely waste an out. What the fuckity fuck?

What drives me crazy is that the Brewers knew a bunt was coming. Why not take advantage by swinging?

I have no answer. Not a fucking clue. Straight stubbornness on the manager’s part is my guess.
joshQuote Reply
Wow. That was about the worst offensive performance I can remember.
EDIT: I mean, except for all the times where they got RISP and struck out 3 straight times, which is at least once a game.

I’m not drunk enough to enjoy this game.

Maybe he felt a wee bit embarrassed about the last at-bat in which he swung at a pitch that bounced several feet in front of the plate.

How is it that the Cubs have a positive baserunning score on FanGraphs when they’re so terrible?

They’re only in the 11th inning. Len acts as though were on the 16th or 17th or something like that.

How do you walk Aramis on 4 pitches?
ACTQuote Reply
@ mb21:
Also that every pitcher has thrown 15 days in a row before this game instead of an off-day

Can KW equal Bartolo Colon’s consecutive strike performance, but with balls? Might take a few games.

Wow, Kerry can get out of any jam, as long as one of the opposing batters is a pitcher.

This game will never end.

Reedz can pitch, right?

He may in fact be able to throw the ball from the mound to a target 60 feet, 6 inches away. Pitching might be more difficult.

If Gameday is right, we only have Soto on the bench and Lendy Castillo in the pen.

Marmol ——> DL
Coleman —–> Cubs
I think Coleman is probably the 3rd best reliever in the pen, pending a successful bullpen test
