Bryant!!!!

Ugh.
Edit: Never mind. That worked out nicely.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
He looked safe.
dmick89Quote Reply
Wow. Great play by Baez.
dmick89Quote Reply
Dansby Swanson is getting called up. Shelby Miller is still in AAA, though.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Wow, the Brewers lost their starting pitcher and their best hitter in this game.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
A big hit from Grandpa here would be nice.
dmick89Quote Reply
I like how the Brewers brought in a guy with 21 strikeouts in 51.2 innings to a bases-loaded, one-out situation.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Crap.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
(dying laughing) again? Crazy.
dmick89Quote Reply
Runs, please.
dmick89Quote Reply
Fuck
dmick89Quote Reply
Safe
dmick89Quote Reply
Ugh.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
They take that long and still get it wrong. Terrible.
dmick89Quote Reply
dmick89,
Terrible slide by Szczur, though. What was he thinking?
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Following on Game day in fits and starts while “travelling” on Delta. Every time I pull the app up, we have runners on base and only one run. Only the inning changes.

Willson!

Javy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Keep piling them on, boys.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
That’s more like it!
URKQuote Reply
It was no Javy slide.
dmick89Quote Reply
Javy killed that baseball. That was a fun inning. The rest of them today haven’t been all that fun.

Second half Hammel is the worst. 3 walks. Unacceptable.
ceruleanQuote Reply
So, uh, about that second half Hammel thing
berseliusQuote Reply
It’s gotta be the potato chips.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Has a potato chip company approached Hammel about an endorsement deal yet?
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Rizzo the Rat,
berseliusQuote Reply
Thankfully no Joe Smith tonight.
dmick89Quote Reply
Hey, the Brewers scored a run. Good for them.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Seems unnecessary to bring Chapman in to get just one out with a three-run lead. But, whatever.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Heh—in the feed in the At Bat app, they have they have a video of fans misspelling SOLER, and the caption writer “mispells” misspell.
ceruleanQuote Reply
Throw strikes, please.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Jesus.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Well this isn’t great.
dmick89Quote Reply
Wood could have walked that guy just as easily. And given up an infield single too.
ceruleanQuote Reply
Chapman isn’t throwing as hard today.
dmick89Quote Reply
Multiple fastballs in the high 90s.
dmick89Quote Reply
Cubs win.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
dmick89,
He does that when he tries to get them over the plate.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
That was nice. I prefer DH sweeps of inferior teams, as opposed to being swept by such inferior teams like San Diego. +201, 32 over. I like it.
ceruleanQuote Reply
6-38 gets the Cubs to .500. Let’s go Cubbies.
dmick89Quote Reply
dmick89,
I think they can manage that.
Rizzo the RatQuote Reply
Proffing going well, but no longer in Puerto Rico. Huzzah. We joined the exodus when it was clear the best we could hope for from our pension was to recoup principle by leaving before we vested. Now in SC where I get to focus on forest research and watch the Pelicans about every other homestand.
IMO, having seen a number of Pelican games, Gleyber for Chapman was a good trade. I know he was a top prospect and young for high A, but I don’t think he’ll be much of a hitter.
