Unless you read every word, you probably didn't see that defacto OV owner Harry Pavlidis has expanded his internet empire to the Washington Post, where he will write about pitch f/x-y things for the Nationals. Luckily for HP, they have this Stephen Strasburg guy. Here's his first of what will be many great articles.
WTF – February 22, 2013 – Wherein Tim & Adam Share Too Much For Everyone’s Comfort
Today on Wrigley Talk Friday, we hope we finally closed the door on Tony Campana discussion, reflected on Theo's honesty about where the Cubs stand, and admitted to some deep emotional scarring that the Cubs have inflicted on us over the years. By the way, the Theo interview we discuss can be heard here. Listen to internet radio with Wrigley Talk …
All Time BA Top 100 lists
If you've got some time to kill, this is a fun trip down memory lane. Fun fact: the Cubs only had one player in the top 100 in 1993 and 1994….and it was the legendary Brooks Kieschnick. Lots of bare years after that too, when Kerry Wood was the only real prospect in the system. Also, Brian Dopirak was once …
Best comment ever
Mish highlighted what has to be the best comment ever posted anywhere (comment number 4): Son, we live in a world that has walls. And those walls have to be breached by men with bats. I have a greater responsibility than you can possibly fathom. You weep for Sosa and you curse Bonds. You have that luxury. You have the …
WAR is more “widespread, threatening and serious” than actual war?
I was tempted to begin this column with the almost-obligatory lyrics from "War," a No. 1 hit song in 1970. But when Edwin Starr sang that war was good for "absolutely nothing'' (say it, say it again), he was recording a protest against actual warfare. Spring Training Broadcast Schedule Announced
Less than one month until Chicago Cubs baseball is on the air! WGN Radio will broadcast nine games. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the rest are covered on Gameday Radio, as was the case last year. No word yet on any televised games, though I would be surprised if any are non-weekend games.

Some minor MLB rule changes for next year
This ESPN blurb lists three relatively minor rule changes for the upcoming season. Here's the highlights Coaches and managers are now allowed to bring an interpreter when conferencing with a pitcher. The article implies that this rule is mostly due to Yu Darvish. Due to the recent trend in teams having two hitting coaches, teams may now have seven managers …
Milton Bradley charged with 13 misdemeanors
All around nice guy Milton Bradley has been busy lately. Bradley denies the charges against him, brought by his soon-to-be ex-wife (the two are in the middle of a contentious divorce, no doubt brought on by the fact that he’s around the house quite a bit more often now). Milton Bradley is probably not a good person.
