I happened to realize that the Cubs just finished off their stretch where they played 18 straight games against an opponent projected to finish over .500.
The Cubs went 12-15 in the early soft part of their schedule against teams like Houston and the Diamondbacks for a .444 win percentage. Then we figured the bottom would fall out as they faced real teams like the defending World Champs and the Boston Red Sox.
They went 8-10 in those games for a .444 win percentage.
For those of you who don’t like math, that brings us to the total record of 20-25, which is, of course, a win percentage of .444.
Weird.

So the Cubs are equally mediocre against everyone?
Makes sense. Also, this should’ve been a fanshot.

2011 Cubs: We play just as bad against all teams. Worried about us winning against the Astros? Don’t be. Worried about us getting our asses kicked by the good teams? Don’t be.
