Iowa Cubs 1 @ Nashville Sounds 2
Mike Olt was 0-2 with 2 walks. Olt had 22 hits in Iowa, and 20 walks. He struck out 37 times. He went from a Top 100 prospect before the year began to "maybe not as good a prospect as Christian Villanueva." Olt finishes his Cubs season with a .551 OPS.
Kyle Hendricks ended the I-Cubs' season with a strong performance but took the loss anyway. He allowed 2 runs on a 1st-inning bomb, but no other runs. I will say that he had a single K, which is not so great. Still, he had a great season and has to be in the discussion for the #5 starter role next year. Chang-Yong Lim had a scoreless 7th inning, and he'll probably be called up to the Cubs in short order. Marcos Mateo pitched the last inning of the season for the Cubs with a scoreless 8th.
Tennessee Smokies 3 @ Chattanooga Lookouts 4 (playoff bound!)
Bad day for the two big prospects; Arismendy Alcantara and Javier Baez were both 0-4, and Baez struck out 3 times. Baez ends the season with a .983 OPS in the Southern League. His overall line: .282/.341/.578 with a .920 OPS. 37 HR, 111 RBI. From here, he'll go to the AFL. He hit lefties to an OPS of 1.417 in the Southern League. He's going to hurt some people.
Christian Villanueva hit a HR, and Rubi Silva added a double. Silva played the whole year in Tennessee and walked only 18 times. That's insanity.
Eric Jokisch (The Decider) took the loss in the last game of the year. He pitched 5.2 innings, gave up 8 hits, and 4 runs (3 earned). However, he walked none and fanned 7. Really, the primary damage was some reverse hit-luck. A.J. Morris, P.J. Francescon, Armando Rivero, Hunter Cervenka, and Frank Batista combined to pitch 2.1 innings of scoreless baseball.
Peoria Chiefs 4 @ Kane County Cougars 5
Everyone had at least one hit; Jeimer Candelario and Giuseppe Papaccio each had 3. As a team, the Cougars had 13 hits, and all of them were singles. Jeimer Candelario ends the season with a .738 OPS.

Hillsboro Hops 10 @ Boise Hawks 6
Jeffrey Baez tripled, Rony Rodriguez doubled (and singled, and walked twice), and no one else had an extra base hit. Shawon Dunston had a pair of singles. David Bote did as well. Justin Marra singled and walked once, and batted 3rd, which is awesome.
Michael Wagner allowed 4 runs off of 2 HR. Sam Wilson and Juan Paniagua also allowed 3 runs in 3 and 2 innings, respectively. Trey Lang pitched a scoreless 9th.
Tough to believe how much Olt has fallen.
