I put a copy of the JOT for today in drafts, I’m not sure if the missing posts are getting recovered or not. I can republish if necessary/someone can just hit publish on it again.
I’m ready to ship Barney out of town for a bag of balls this offseason. His platoon splits aren’t even good enough to make him a viable part-time player, and his defensive value isn’t worth it if his innings are limited. I’ll take my chances with Watkins.

More than likely you’d see Watkins take over at 2nd with Barney as the backup 2B/SS. I have no problem with that and even if he gets his offense back to pre-2013 levels, I don’t even have a problem with him starting. HIs defense is that good, but if this is what you get offensively, I’d look to replace him.
